Cold Patch or Hot
A hot box can heat and reheat cold patch asphalt. They are designed to transport hot mix. Falcon’s hot box’s special design holds an even temperature throughout the hopper. It uses diesel or propane as fuel source.
This hot box can even keep these even temperatures while in tow. This ensures optimal material at the job site. The heated floor and apron of the hopper keep the material warm while onsite.
Capacities
- The dump box available in capacities of 2, 3, 4, or 6-ton.
- The truck mount available in capacities of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10-ton.
Voltage Indicator & Protection System
This system automatically prevents the burner from operating below the manufacturer’s required voltage.
Safety
The dump box has two 3″ bore 30″ tie-rod style hydraulic cylinders. Each acts as a safety backup for the other. The metering material door opens from the curb side. The controls are mounted on the curb side.
